Newer Work from Figure Classses

 Some work from my second figure painting class. In the bottom one I used panel board for pretty much the first time, I'll definitely be using it more as a surface in the future.

 

In my figure drawing class, we're using strictly vine charcoal.  The bottom one is my out of class midterm for that.

More from last semester

Here are some drawings I completed for finals last semester in a figure drawing class. The top drawing is a master copy from a Russian artist. The bottom is a portrait of my boyfriend, Ray.

I finally got a chance to get a good photo of the completed work of the sketches I posted some months ago.

Day 2 or 3??

meh, already skipping a day, but with the amount of school work I have, I think it's ok. This came out all wonky. I'm really bad at trying to replicate photos.

Daily 1

I'm starting a daily drawing sort of thing. Not that I don't draw everyday, but hopefully having the obligation to put it up here, will motivate me more to do so. For the first entry here's a stereotypical sexy demon lady

and some hot lava.

Here's some sketches of a portrait of Edgar Allan Poe I'm doing for a class. He is made up of various creepy objects and scenes from his stories and poems.

Figure Painting

We had the same model 2 weeks in a row. I definitely tried to apply some of the same things I learned from doing the first painting into the second.
